January 25th NW Chapter Meeting

Post by Ryan Center » Sun Jan 10, 2010 8:26 pm

Okay folks, it's that time of year again. The NW Chapter will be buying pizza to say thanks for your support to the Arkansas Canoe Club. We would love to see some of your video or sideshows of your trips of the 2009 season. If you would like to show some video or pictures, it would be great if you could lets us know in advance so we can schedule it in. All are welcome and come hungry.

We will be meeting 1-25-10 at 6:30pm at Jim's Razorback Pizza.
2620 W Martin Luther King Blvd, Fayetteville, AR‎

Thanks,
Ryan Center

Pack Rat has donated a couple of gift cards for some of the door prizes.

See you there!

would you like those priorty shipped or dehydrated and regular mailed?

Also - don't forget to claim to your door prize number in advance.

I recommend picking one of the winning numbers.

Ryan-
Some of us went and paddled Lee Creek yesterday and noticed some large piles of gravel on the forest service access road. It appears that the gravel has been there for a while because it is rather compacted from people driving over it.

Was this gravel we purchased? If so, can we get in touch with the forest service to grade it out?

This was the gravel we helped with the purchase of. Not sure of the other question, Dave Robertson was working with the forest service on this project.

Ryan and Ryan

I was out there yesterday, and the gravel is almost too much for my car to get over. We made though. I think I'm gonna throw a rake or two in the trunk next weekend and go out there and try to at least smooth it out if'n anyone wants to help.
