Lilly's Dim Sum Then Some... I won the monthly contest for answering a question on a food topic. In this instance, it was "in what country were noodles invented?" The answer is that while many countries claim to have invented noodles, recently the oldest dated noodles were uncovered in an archeological site in China... 4,000 years old! Probably pretty stale! And, made from millet, a grain still grown in Arkansas and used, I think, primarily for cattle fodder... But, I won a $10 discount there whenever I remember to take my award email in with me...

Gordo, Lily's is really nice Asian-fusion restaraunt just off Rodney Parham on the west side of 430 in one of the little strip malls.

Serves fresh ingredients in a nice setting with the menu featuring noodle bowls, various dumplings, potato croquettes (Yasai Karokke) to die for plus a bunch of other goodies. One of the owners is state representative Kathy Webb.

Nice place to take a date for lunch or dinner. Good stuff!
