Surely someone has video of the "Halloween Carnage on Richland" adventure... Oh, I forgot, as I recall only the rafters were swimming!

Actually I have some pictures of a couple of swims by both kayakers and rafters. I'll put together a slideshow from what I have and bring it along too.

Anybody else that has video or picture feel free to bring them. If they are on an SD card or a CD I can display them with the laptop.

Meetings are at the Oyster Bar Restaurant at the junction of Kavanaugh and Markham. Meetings are at 7:30 but most folks get there at 7:00ish to eat. Might be a good place to take your new "friend" :D :D
Or NOT!!!

Central Chapter folks -

We'll have raffle tickets available for purchase at the meeting for the beautiful artwork that the River Valley is offering.

For details and to see the artwork, go here:
http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com/mb/vie ... =1&t=14493" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Raffle tickets are $5 each. The River Valley Chapter is known for their YUMMY Pancake and Sausage Breakfast that they offer every year at Whitewater School as a fundraiser. Because the Breakfast was rained out this year, they are doing this artwork raffle as another fundraiser for our club's general funds. Cool!

Either of these pictures would no doubt look fabulous in any paddler's home!

Bring your check or dough for raffle tickets and I'll make sure they get back to Diane in time for the drawing at their Holiday party on Dec 4.

Cheers,
Heather aka Lupe

I also have raffle tickets and will have them at the meeting tonight.

Also, anyone who was on Richland Oct 31 and ran upper/lower screw-up in the afternoon and wants their pictures and/or video bring an SD card or other flash media with a usb reader and I'll give them to you if I have them. I have a whole bunch of photos at both rapids and some video from Lower.

Mike Beebe is collecting used coats to be donated to coatless people in El Dorado next weekend!
If you will bring the coats to the Central Chapter meeting tonight, Mike will take them to be cleaned!
Heather has already donated 2 bags of coats, so see if you can find a coat or two to donate!
Thanks so much!!!
