Anyone have handy experience in what material works best for plugging leaky grab-loop holes?

It would seem like rope or webbing grab loop materials would continually flex just enough that no rigid bonding material would stay that way very long. Perhaps something flexible like clear silicone or Aquaseal would last longer. I don't know

If you want it to be reversible, get the best grade exterior silicone available.
If you want the best possible product for adhesion, uv resistance and staying soft and flexible, get NP1. It is made by 3M and is a professional only product, you can get it in tubes at roofing or concrete suppliers. Costs about $6. Just don't change your mind because it is forever.
