Just listened to the CNN broadcast of the TDOT announcement about the contract being let to clean up the slide. Took them a week to complete the survey and the earliest they are saying now is 8 weeks OR LONGER, as they have to go to the top of the mountain to stabilize what is up above first.
Would be willing to bet that more comes down in that process. Something about 3000 truckloads to haul off mentioned.

They have a webcam setup now so you can watch the "progress".
