Richland into Buffalo at Woolum ?

Post by Cool River Runnings » Mon Nov 09, 2009 7:54 pm

Anybody ever float or fish the last part of Richland into the Buffalo at Woolum? Looks like there is a road that fords there at woolum. How low does river have to be to be able to cross? Is it a ford like Erbie? Never been to Woolum. Thinking of camping at there and trying to float the last 4 mile section of Richland back to Woolum.

Ford at Woolum is doable at a lower level than we experience Sunday. You need to have the right kind of vehicle. Five backpackers forded the river just before we got there. Erbie has a concrete low water bridge. Woolum is gravel.
