UALR POOL SESSIONS 10-28 & 10-31
And all this life we've glorified
Robbin' from the blind
It's not easy, you see
Don't think i don't know sympathy
My victims in my shadow
Starin' back at me

Re: UALR POOL SESSIONS 10-28 & 10-31
Many pardons if this has been covered before, but I have a buddy that is looking to get a bit of instruction on how to best work his new whitewater boat and he doesn't have the internet access to be asking himself. He knows the UALR sessions take place is wanting to participate in a few.
So if someone could rehash what a body would need to do in order to get involved with some of these sessions (cost, what all is covered, exact times, etc...) I'd would love to pass it along.
thanks,
mac

Specific info can be found here:
http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com/index. ... &Itemid=59" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Basically, no cost, but you should be an ACC member. Times are Wed 6-8pm; Sat 2-5pm. Sessions can be canceled due to swim meets so he (or someone) should check the message board each week for a post like this one which will indicate if the sessions are on or not. When school is not in session, usually we lose the Saturday sessions and Wed hours move to 5-7pm...it's always best to double check the message board.
It's not a class or formal instruction...just open pool time. However, if someone more experienced is there, we are almost always willing to show newbies strokes or how to roll. If your friend is specifically looking for someone to be there to help, it's best to post ahead of time to see who might be there. For example, on Saturdays if there is water (like this Saturday!) it is very unlikely anyone will be there!
Cheers,
Heather aka Lupe
