Check out the guage graph on richland. Not to many times that you see it run flat at a runnable level.

Dale, checking the Jasper weather, and knowing the rain will move out Friday p.m. so care to predict any levels for Saturday?

Bryan - my sister may be there and while I'm trying to talk her into rafting, she doesn't like cold and may not go. You could probably bribe her or something :)

Pardon my ignorance, I'm just a poor Missouri folk who hasn't yet gotten the chance to paddle Richland, but I was wanting to come down there Saturday. From the looks of these other messages, though, the level might be a bit much for a first timer like me. Anybody care to enlighten/fill me in regarding whether I should paddle it (I've paddled class 3 a few times), and if not, where I might be able to go-- Hailstone, etc?

Probably want to catch a ride on a raft if possible if you make the party or look elsewhere! If it hits Dale's prediction, it would be  and a possible :hammer: unless you really got the skills for IV (edited to match Fish, and thanks for the correction).

Be lots of stuff to run Saturday probably. Walnut Creek section of the Piney (uppermost), Hailstone, Falling Water (see Fish's post) and more.
