Lake Fayetteville Cleanup on 10/24/09

Post by Half Ton » Thu Oct 15, 2009 3:39 pm

If you live, work, or play in the Lake Fayetteville Watershed then this event is your chance to go above and beyond to be a steward of your watershed.

The Lake Fayetteville Watershed Partnership is a good group and they really need some canoes and kayaks for this event. Apparently a lack of canoes and kayaks is a limiting agent in the amount of stuff that can be cleaned up at this event.

I was told that here is no cost for launching a boat for this event. These folk don't so much know who the ACC is and this would be a great way to let them know who the ACC is and what the ACC is capable of.

Every boat counts !

I am supposed to be at the Ocoee then the Chatooga on this weekend so I will not make it, but I hope that some of you can !

John, I wish I could make it, but in addition to having to work tomorrow, i'm in conway now. I hope there is a good turnout.
