I'm so sorry to here that! I haven't seen Bobby in a long while, but I always enjoyed him when I paddled with him.
I met Bobby on the Lower Mountain Fork paddling with Heath. Very sad indeed!

Bobby is one of the most caring and fun to be around persons I have had the privilege of boating with. If someone needed help he is always there.

Bobby will be missed by those of us who boated with him.

Just heard...

Still in shock...

Bobby was one of what I call "those happy guys..." - always a smile on his face, just being around him you found your own energy levels increasing...

That's absolutely terrible. The times I hung out with Bobby have been truly fun and enjoyable times. I'm going to miss him.

Heath, I hope you got some rest. I know this isn't much, but Scott saw this last night:

This is very sad news indeed.I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby on one of Captain Aleve's Little Mo. trips several years ago, he was all smiles and a good paddler. At one point in our trip that day, I saw friend Jane Stacy go over downstream, then miss a couple of roll attempts, Bobby was by her side immediately and quick as a flash flipped her back 'sunny-side up'!

My deepest sympathy to Bobby's family.

Really don't know what to say, other than thoughts for the family.

Ugh...I'm numb. We lost a good man. He was always up for an adventure and was smiling no matter what.

Exactly what I would say about him as well Cowper. Never saw Bobby without a smile on his face. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family....

I opened this with a sense of dread, and now I'm now in tears. Bobby was just simply one of my favorite guys to be around, and I suspect a lot of people will say the same about him. His enthusiasm and smile were infectious - the kind of guy I aspire to be. A week ago, thinking about someday maybe getting to paddle Clear Cr. down in Oklahoma again (if I'm lucky), the images in my mind were mostly of Bobby, smiling and just loving every second of what we were all doing. I got to paddle with him several times, but he's the kind of guy I regret very much having not been around more. I wish I had. I wish I could. I wish I'd have told him how much I admired him the last time I saw him.

I'm very glad to have known him.

The almost fearless, always smiling Bobby. He made our trips better every time he was there. Simply because he was always happy! He loved to be out on the river with his homies. He was usually the one still surfing after everyone else was whipped. We'll miss you B.B.!! One of the classiest dudes there ever was!!
