Upper Caddo River, Tomorrow, Sunday Morning

Post by Jim Krueger » Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:56 pm

This is rather late notice, but so far there will probably be four or five of us floating the Caddo tomorrow. It looks like a level of about 7 feet at put-in time which is a challenging level on the Caddo. Hopefully the sun will come out more than today but I think this will be the start of 'wetsuit' weather for me regardless. We plan to meet at Caddo River Outfitters ( Downstream side of the U.S. Hwy. 70 bridge at Glenwood) about 10:30-11 to set shuttle and head to the put-in. Other floaters welcome, I'll check email in the morning or my c-phone #' when under way in the morning' is 501and8608323. Lunch on the river, bring. :)

Best Regards
Jim Moose

Sorry, the trip for today is canceled for our part. Going bike riding instead.

Jim and Marlo!
So sorry you didn't get to paddle, but glad we didn't miss it!
The Buffalo River is flowing fast and furious, especially compared to 2 weeks ago. A Lot of vehicles parked at the bottom of the mountain, all with kayak racks. We brought our boats but it is cold, windy, foggy and still having to get stuff done around here! You are right, it is the start of Wetsuit weather!

This time next year, we'll be on that river!!! Hope you will join us.

Susan
