Friday paddling

I might be up for some paddling tomorrow. I get out of class at 10:20 tomorrow, so I could go anytime after then. Let's see what the river levels are in the morning and go from there. Did you have any specific runs in mind?

Well I just came back from the Illinois river Hogeye run at the take out bridge and its already extremely high. On the way there the highway had 4 or 5 spots with ditches that had so much water in them that water was going across the road as much as 1 foot deep in one of them. Assuming we keep getting this kind of rain I'm sure the easier runs in this area will be flooded out. I'm up for anything class 4 and under though. There are several runs I'd like to do in the Mulberry area if the water gets high enough. I've got a test that gets out around 10:20 so give me a call any time after that.

i'd be up for running something. i don't get out of class untill 11:30 though. no worries if thats too late.

I'm in Hot Springs now on my way west from Memphis. Plan on camping out/staging at the Tot tonight. Hopefully I will see some boats on racks in the morning. Will check here in the morning and give you guys a buzz good luck on the test.

Oh man, I just checked the river levels - I think I am going to have to sit today out, especially considering that it is still raining. It looks like everything is probably going to be too high for me today (I'm a relatively new boater, and Class II+ is about the extent of what I have done). Maybe I can try to go tomorrow. Y'all have fun today, and be safe!
