I have been looking around the web for info on the trails of Hobbs State Parks. Not much. What can you guys tell me about it? Primitive over nights?? Seems to be lots of loops in one main trail. Scenery?? Etc.
Thanks guys and gals!!!!!!!!

Re: OT Hobbs State Park Trails
Another good option for information is to call or go by the new Hobbs Nature Center on Highway 12. The facility is very nice and the people that work there are very helpful. If they don't know the answer to a question, they will put you in touch with someone that will. I don't have much first hand knowledge of these trails yet, but everyone I have talked to says they are nice. Especially considering that it is so close and convenient to NWA.

I Googled Hobbs State Park and found a map of the trails put out by the Friends of Hobbs. The phone number to the park is 479-789-5000. They are also accepting bids until Oct 15 for barrier free trail construction in the conservation area, so it looks like they are improving the trail system. I have never been there, but the map shows it close to War Eagle and Beaver Lake. I think I will stop by the next time I'm close

Thanks guys. I actually went out there to the lodge. Very nice. Lots of info. I think it looks like a great place to set up a base camp and hike all you can!
