Boatball Wednesday 9-23

Post by Kurt » Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:04 am

Lee creek is above 5 ft on the gage. Normally that moves the meeting to Lee.
That gage is down stream so it may be a risk to meet there that late.
Anyone playing today?
At Lee or west fork?

I'm hoping to go out to Lee Creek earlier this afternoon, if anyone wants to go then. I need to be back to Fayetteville by 5:00 or 6:00, though.

I'd be real surprised if Lee holds all afternoon. As far as I know I'll be there, can't vouch for anyone else though.

I think a couple of us are headed to Fishers Ford this afternoon. We were out there a couple weeks ago at like 4.6 range when it was rising pretty quickly on the gauge still and it was a blast...much better surf then what Lee Creek will be this afternoon.

However, it is at 5.6 ft on the gauge downstream and dropping, so it may be really fun or blown out. Just gonna have to find out.

7 of us had fun on Lee Creek. Despite 5.5-5.6 ft on the guage during the time we there it was definitely on the low side. Thanks to Tom & Wayne for setting up a shuttle ahead of time so we weren't walking in the dark!
