To all that organized and worked at the 2009 Rendezvous, a HUGE THANK YOU!!!

This was the first Rendezvous for me in several years do to scheduling problems and overwork! It was sure nice to see everyone and hang out with Miss Eva!

Had a blast at the Rescue Rodeo and Hometown Throwdown! Also, greatly enjoyed the potluck dinner and made several really nice purchases at the silent auction.

Again, thanks to all of the volunteers and participants!

Viva la Vous!

PS: Hated to have to bail out early Saturday night but I was feelin like poo poo and wanted to go nite nite! Would have loved to have jammed all night!

I second that emoticon! Great Rendezvous!! Want to thank everyone as well...

James, great job as a first time coordinator. Motion for James to continue as the 2010 Rendezvous Chair...Second??

Mike Bebee did a wonderful job with Registration...That is definitely a thankless job for you and all of your wonderful volunteers. Thanks to them as well.

Mike Byrum did a great job with the silent auction this year as usual...Great fun!!

Miss Eva and the entire crew at Couchdale, who are always fun and work hard to make Rendezvous a success.

Walter Felton...for the rescue rodeo and of course the Margaritas. (Kristal is definitely a Felton-rita fan!)

Amos and Aaron for all the mighty fine pickin and a-grinin!!

But it wouldn't have been near as much fun without all of the good company. Those that came out it was great to see everyone and for those that didn't make it, you definitely missed out.

See ya'll next year.. Viva Le Vous!!

This was our first 'Vous experience & it certainly was a great time. Many thanks to those who spent hours organizing all the events & those who gave so freely of their time. . . special thanks to Heather, Liz & Brad for the paddling clinic on Sat. a.m. - excellent instruction. Also to Mike & Amos for the roll session in the pool Sat. p.m. - - really appreciate your patience with us newbies!!

Wonderful week-end

Thanks to Don and OOO for donating the LiquidLogic! Just sorry I didn't win it, but thanks anyway!

I think everyone did a great job and thanks Mike Coogan for the float trip and helping everyone surf!

Heather, next year we want to see a "private lesson" session put back into the silent auction!

Looking forward to next year!

I had a fantastic time this year, moreso than probably the last 2-3 years even. It really made my week, that's for sure.
It was great getting to see all of you guys and the pickin and grinning was top notch too. Well, the guitar parts were for sure. lol

Thanks too to James for picking such great prizes for the Cookoff and to the judges and participants for that too. We had two new competitors and a great line-up of "old" ones.

T, I know Don Jackson asked for our recipes to be put in the newsletter. If you are willing to share your delicious apple turnover recipe, I'll take care of getting it to Gordon's. Same for everyone else!

Kim, I had to be somewhere else during Rendezvous, but here's a very easy recipe for Apple Dumplings that should be DO good!
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, & cut into 8 slices each
2 cans refrig crescent rolls
2 sticks margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cup sugar
12 oz can Mt. Dew

place 1 slice apple in each triangle of crescent dough & roll from large end to small
place in DO sprayed with Pam
In small pan, (or before loading DO& then reserve) melt margarine, mix with sugar & cinnamon
Pour sugar mix over dumplings
Pour Mt. Dew over all
cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
