New Cadron Access?
I just heard their is a new access point on the Cadron from hwy 65 which puts you on the water about a mile upstream from CCO. True or false?

TRUE! Not sure about the mileage, but Chester was telling me about t this morning. Cant wait for someone to post directions...

Yes, it's true! A small group has been hard at work over the past many months to get a new access above Hwy 65. We are testing out the new access today for it's "trial" use, and assuming all goes well, we'll be making the official announcement with directions and details tonight. Stay tuned...details should be up tonight!

Water was muddy as expected, but David, Carol, and I had a good time. David's GPS tracked it at about 6.? miles to the Hwy 65 bridge. Time down at this level was 3 hours I think it was, with little play and 1 short break. No portages nor real hazards were encountered, but some boat control required. Put in may require a 4x4 after more use, and even now, low ground clearance vehicles could be in trouble. Maybe a work day for a few of us could stabalize the road in places.
