Vive Le Vous!!!

Post by Jeremy M » Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:49 am

I know its been raining cats and dogs and the rivers are up and it will be hard for some to justify making it to Vous this year, but....

What better place to have as a "base camp" for your paddling this weekend than Camp Couchdale and Rendezvous 2009!!! So pack up the gear, get on down, and lets have some fun this weekend.

Good friends, Good fun, Good Paddling....Thats what Rendezvous is all about. The volunteers have been working hard to make this year's event a lot of fun, so come on out and support their hard work!!

Tot is only a little over an hour away, so you can still enjoy nightly and morning festivities. Unfortunately, I have to drive home each night to tend to Misty, who just had surgery yesterday.

I agree. Vous is just once a year. Rain occurs more frequently. Its still frustrating though how all the things I want to do seem to occur on the same weekend. Ozark Society fall meeting. BSA camporee. Cadron Settlement dedication. And the Buffalo is flowing. Of all those and I can only do one, so its VOUS!

For those who have only dreamed of canoe camping, this is a chance to learn and get your questions answered. We will meet next to the dining hall on the side closest to check in. Look for the white screen room-tent.

Then join us next weekend on the Buffalo.
