Does anyone know about the water leading to War Eagle? Is this floatable in a kayak? I have a lake house in the area and want to do some kayaking this fall, we have only used the kayaks on Beaver lake this summer and really enjoyed it, any suggestion on other close by areas would be appreciated. Thanks

to the best of my knowledge War Eagle River is doable from Witter AR which is near the headwaters all the way to the end.

It's floatable from Witter but the best stretch I've found is from the Hwy. 412 bridge to the Hwy. 23 bridge at Withrow Springs State Park. Like everything else it's a little low right now but still floatable if you don't mind walking a little.
