Pools open Sat. 2! I chatted with our pool Facilitator
For those interested, I found that the pool will be open this Wednesday. This will be the last week for summer hours. The following Two Wednesdays will be available at normal hours as school is starting Thursday.
In the interest of getting fully staffed, it will be the Saturday following Labor Day before we have that time slot as well.
Saturday September Twelfth will be the first weekend session. I believe it will still be from Two till Five.
Tomorrows session is still on schedule from Five-Thirty till Seven, for anyone interested.

Re: UALR Pool
I thought it was 5PM to 7? You put 5:30 to 7.

Re: UALR Pool
Well, that was an original time line that has been acceptably ignored by all involved, including myself.
Their has been no issues with Five O clock arrivals. The pools open time for lap swimmers and swim teams starts earlier, But I wouldn't push it much, well any earlier than Five.
I was informed that a couple of months ago, the pool water contracted a clouding issue that was directed at the Tupperware boaters who undoubtedly didn't get their boat as clean as it could have been. I know most of us are conscious of the value of cleanliness, but I hope to convey the importance of getting your boat not just clean but disinfected.
Bobs rule of thumb, is, "If it smells bad in there, then there's something bad in there." Kill it!
I know boat cleaning processes were discussed on here not too long ago by Karla and others, so maybe you guys can chime in again on the quick, cheap and effective way to do this. Wasn't it just a shot of bleach added when pre-rinsing at home?
Anything else, just add your comment or pm me!
I'm Gumby D*mn it!

Re: UALR Pool
I got the power washer after mine and it cleaned it out pretty nice!
Re: UALR Pool
I have used the power washer too and it really does a good job even on the ground in dirt on the bottom between all the gouges and scratches.

Re: UALR Pool
Since the J Tar* doesn't like cross posts I'll mention here that the pool facilitator asked yesterday afternoon to forgo Saturdays until after Labor day.
Obviously It does little good for me to relay direct connection information from our pool facilitator.
I believe I shall forgo any further communications on the behalf of the paddlers until I know their will be no future conflicts

Re: Pools open Sat. 2! I chatted with our pool Facilitator
So, I chatted with our pool facilitator today, and he did confirm that he was fully staffed and the pool would be available Saturday. Previous posting verbiage came directly from Tom himself. The who's and why's of cross posting on this issue should be over now. Thank you all for allowing this type of entertainment. I too, was amused!
