Calling All Engineers & Designers: Steam Dancer

Post by Ryans_Brother » Mon Aug 10, 2009 8:23 pm

I'm still on the email distribution list for Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (ORGT), and I received the message below. I thought there might be some folks who browse this board who would be interested in the project...

I could use some help.

My watercraft won the 2008 Int’l Concept Boat Design Award and the patent has been issued. You can see it in action at http://www.streamdancer.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The latest (rough) prototype is in 3 sections.

Four major boat manufacturers have expressed interest in producing the boat, but none could take on a new project in this economy. Plans are to continue locally in producing the boat.

Hopefully, we will be in production by the end of the year.

I would like to get the hull as efficient as possible, the augers engineered and balance for quiet operation, and I could use some input on brushless motors, speed controls, and battery technology.

If you know of someone willing to share thoughts or possibly get involved, please let me know.

Buyers are calling and emailing everyday wanting to buy and I need to get it in production soon.
