how bout 9?, but doesnt look like the upper is going to have enough water... i may skip out all together and go to the tot... however, if we can put on at 9, i may be down for the lower.. also mark, another option if the water is bad at lil mo and good at tot, would be from 246 to ed banks on the tot... i havent ever went down that, and would be willing to.... i dunno, only time will tell (and rain) ill post back later tonight

Doesn't look like the upper is gonna go judging by rainfall estimates and current gauge reading a lot of the rain fell to far south and east however the lower looks like it should still be there. I'm definitely gonna go for either one 10 at 84 bridge sounds good to me unless my nephew comes from Fayetteville then might have to wait a little later for him to show up.
You can call me at (501) 304- 1330. or post here.

Mike,
I would be coming from LR also. Would definitely like to share a ride. Meet somewhere in west LR about 2 1/2 hours before the 84 bridge meet time?

What gauge level are we looking for to make the upper a decent run?
Anything over 4.5 should be decent, correct?

The upper can be done at 4.7 really needs to be about 5.5 to really be good you can tell at the 84 bridge if water is coming over the old concrete slab the upper has enough water to do it about 8 inches of water over the slab and it gets pretty good.
Coogan is in Little Rock maybe yall could carpool I'm in Malvern so it's easy for me to get there. I could probably have my arm twisted into doing 246 to Ed Banks too if it's not too tired from the Little Mo. or if that's the preferred group consensus.

I am definatly going to the tot after oil mo. I would like to run through the falls, but if everyone else wantted to take out at ed banks, that would be fine. Could just drive down and run a lap or two on the falls

If we decide on the Tot, and want to double the length (over 246 to Ed Banks) it's easy to go to the Gilham Springs bridge, and fairly quick....makes for a six miler. Come on Rain!!!! The Cossatot has been going up today.

Looks like I'm going to have to go home tonight and do the "rain" dance. Probably a good thing nobody will be there.....get :hammer: , drink  , and dance naked.

It hasn't rained on either watershed for the last 6 hours so I wouldn't expect the gages to be anywhere near the current reading in the morning. Funny that they are both rising as of 5 pm, though. Jim Simmons took a group down the upper Little Mo at 4.4 on the gage earlier this year and they said they had fun. On the Cossatot I've paddled above the first bridge upstream of 246 at 4.5 and had a fun time. I did get my truck back so Mark, I can be at the K-Mart on Rodney Parham Road at 7:30 in order to get to the 84 bridge by 10. I'll be up earlier and look at the gages and see what the final consensus is.

Yea more rain in the right place would have been nice to bring the upper part high enough but the lower run should still be good lot's of play spots in it for sure and let's just be happy we got anything in July.
The tot should be there all weekend too. Gilham springs to Ed banks or lower little Mo I'm easy just don't want to get anybody in over their comfort level.

Mike, see you at 7:30 at K-mart. You have my cell (in post) if you need to reach me.

You guys will need to help me decide.....did lower lil MO with Boz and Jared Tuesday and felt very comfortable. Not sure how much of a step up the upper Tot is but would be willing if you guys want to deal with it (ie me)
