Appropriate Water Levels for Pruitt to Hasty or Carver?

Post by Jaytee » Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:28 am

I see from the BOC website that they are launching from Pruitt these days but would like to know realistically if the water's any good. I can't find any guidance on optimal water... guage is about 3.4 right now at Pruitt I think.

What's a good water level for this stretch? I know it has been awfully dry and don't want to head over there and drag all day long. We're in kayaks, not canoes, which will help, but still ...

3.8 to 4.7 is the new Low but Floatable so that is very low. Never been when it is that low.
You sure this is on the right channel?

sounds like I might take a pass unless there's a good rain, which I don't think is in the forecast, then. Thanks.
