Wister OMG it was unreal big water wave hole!

I got slammed hard enough saturday that I didn't get back in but I'm thinkin bout giving it another try this weekend before it goes down. Hopefully I won't take that kinda beating again. Anyone else headed that way Friday or Saturday?

I had a great time at wister this past weekend too!! I was actually able to maintain control in the huge son of a b*%$h!!! I am really proud of myself for getting in and trying. The great thing about this wave is that there are NO consequences!!! if you get in, you WILL get out. and behind the wave is absolutely nothing but water and the bank. So, the least you will do is swim...
Or if you are like me and you get in the water before your shoulder is healed you get a touch of tendonitus!! lol
But it was all worth it!!!! Best of all was the company and support that everyone gave each other on the water.
I did get rolled in the wave and was able to low brace and roll right back up. got a spin and back surfed it for a while. Just felt good actually getting in it and sticking it. Hope those of you who can, make it up here before it goes down. might be another year before it happens again, so hit it while you can.

Harlan, ya'll just come on up while you can.. it'll be gone by next week probably. not a bad deal to swim...you end up on the bank and we all help with the boat retrieval if necessary. you may have to dodge a crossbow or fishing pole but that's it!!!
