I'm not certain what your after, but this program works good and it's free:

It works in Internet Explorer, just right click in the dialog box (no need to highlight the text) and select check spelling. It also works with the new Internet Explorer 8.

I'm with you, the spelling is severely lacking. Not sure if there even is spell check as an option on here though.

I use the Stohlquist Xtract PFD, and I love it. If you use the brick and like that PFD yo wont notice any difference. Have you been out west lately?

Just as a note Byron told me he got an Xtract at a discount for being an instructor.
