Is West Cedar there today?

Post by GaryPaladino » Thu May 14, 2009 3:59 pm

According to the Frog gage it isn't, but I'm guessing the Frog gage is stuck/broken/or other. Anyone got a visual?

Just talked to Grant they are at the put in for their second run of the day. Dogs!

Said its a bit on the almost gone side. Wants to meet at the put in for Lee at 6:00. Lee has peaked at 8.5 and dropped to 8.0.

I would be happy to hit Lee Creek if W Cedar is dropping out. It would still be fun but sounds like sloppy thirds. May be more fun to head up to Lee. What you want to do.

Sorry for the PM on the Board, but it works!

FYI- W. Cedar was lowish but had plenty of good surfing. it really didn't drop during the day, so should be good to go with almost any rain. Hope Lee was good.

teaser- the surfing was so good a local dog took a turn. Rob got some good footage i hope he posts here

Yea, now he tells me! The ol Bait and Switch, eh.

Lee Creek was good. Gary and I had it all to ourselves. Buck N Flush was tasty with a couple of automatic spin holes. The 5-O wave below BNF wasn't as retentive at the level we had last night but BNF was great. The changes to the river are dramatic over the last 15 years of my being aware of Lee. Some good some not so good, but it is still a great place for an apre' work float.
