Yesterday was my first time out at Norrell.
Man it is awesome.

But it wasn't joking around either. Tim counted up the carnage and only 3 of the 8 people out there stayed in their boats the whole time.

The second half of the first rapid is one of the trickiest I've ever gone through. After better part of half a dozen clean runs through things started going bad and I ended the day 1 for 3 staying upright through that rapid (the runout is bad enough I'm gonna need to really work to get myself to not skip it next time).
