Help pls?

Post by Monsoon » Mon May 11, 2009 7:44 pm

As i have turned to "the dark side" as OWL put it, I need some afternoon help with getting into the yak on Lake Atalanta or somewhere near-bouts. Anyone willing to help a re-born boater????

You should probably buy a kayak you can get in without help
It could be worse, it could stop raining

Hey Cap. Surely appreciate it. I knew you'd be the man!! I will be out this weekend.....actually headed to run Dragover Loop. If you want to come that far you are welcome to join. Just a bunch of my brothers friends and I. After I get in and paddle a little bit....we need to go hit some place and learn me to roll, so WE can hit some real creeks. haha!
You're tops Cap! take it easy, and let me know where you are this weekend.

I'm not sure my help would really be help, but I wouldn't mind having a spotter to try some hand rolls. I'm free mid-afternoon or so tomorrow (Tuesday) if you want to mess around in Lake Atalanta. I think I could get your roll started. I guess you've rounded up a skirt and paddle, yes? Let me know a time.

I had to buy two paddles to figure out the best paddle in the world is the one you already have. See you there 'bout 5:00.

Cool I think I got a hit on a Powerhouse 30 d offset carbon. I think that will be more than enough for me. Hopefully I will have that soon!!!

Its good to know im not the only one who has to use a rec paddle for WW.

Lucky, I've been wanting a powerhouse, Jeremy keeps rubbing in how much power he has

"You think you can out race me little spanke? I'm stronger, my paddle blades are larger, and my boat is longer. Everything is working in my favor"
