I have a rapid minutes from my house!!!

I finally went to check out the saltwater barrier today. I was told that a whitewater paddler used to paddle there. He would practice at the eddy lines that can be seen at the bottom of the picture. When I was there today, the river level was high enough to flow over the rocks from top to bottom in the picture creating a small rapid, complete with eddies. It's not much, but it's better than nothing!
