Well after being rained on for three days we packed up a wet camp and was finally headed to richland. WooHoo!!! So being newbies to that area we got a ton of directions. I guess all our directions came from folks that live in North Ar.

We also found out its not 45 min to 1 hour from the Mulberry, which is why our padling buds couldnt wait any longer because we were still freakn driving and driving for like 2hours and 15 min or so. So we make our right on 16 and start looking for the BIG "you can miss it" sign to Richland.( its not there) The mountains are really nice up there, we drove and passed several signs that said Falling Water, never heard of that place. Well we must have drove for an hour or so and came to a little town called Witt Springs (i think) I told Harlan im not driving any more. We had heard its like a hour shuttle and its already 12:30 and we have a 6 hour drive home and we are still freakn LOST. "Home James" So we leave that little town and start heading south on 16. We get back into the area that has all the falling water signs and on the back of on of them is a sign to inchland creek. Well i pulled over thinking we must be getting close. Ichland Creek has got to be in the same watershed as Richland, right???? (maybe they have a bad chigger problem) So i walk over to the sign and the freakn R is missing. Oh i had me a dance and even said a few choice words. The freakn R was missing!!!! Maybe we could buy the parks some R's and get a sign made for the other side of the freakn post. That would be nice for the folks coming from the south, just a thought. So now we know where the road is but isnt one of them blocked by a landslide? Anyway had a good time this weekend hanging with friends

The road you found is the blocked road. I would give you directions ,but it's a waste of time. You will need a tour guide
you're first drive in.

Sorry to hear you had such rough time finding it. I'm sure you had a blast driving those straight, flat roads though!
