My log is short and really fat!!!

So i got me a blow log that is about 3'6'' tall, around 24" across and the walls are around 5" to 6" thick. I know its short but i wanted to find out if i could us it? It's walnut, will it work??

Short logs are not very good. It won't draft enough air probably to be really great. Of course, you can still make it interesting if you have enough accelerants...

YES......... Al Gore will love you for using it as a GREEN STOVE
We fired one similar and used a screen for a top.
Cooked the Chicken Fajitas, Onions & peppers and the tortillas.
Heat can be controlled by changing the vent at the bottom.
and you can always blow it up afterwards.......
