Clif,
As I drove to the place of the coordinates you sent me, I found not just purple paint, but a closed gate. Did you go through a gate? The maps didn't show any other roads to that same location...
As for the AGFC property, spent hours driving today - every road ended at a closed gate with "no trespassing" or similar signs. Got some more research to do...

Re: Archey at Clinton
Good to hear the feedback on Archey's and thanks for working on sorting out access, guys. Harold Hedges told me once that Archey's Fork "has some pretty sporty water." Never forgot that, but it's a long haul from Tulsa with lots of stuff in between, so I've never checked it out.
Let there be rain!

Cowper, it was Kil....... Cemetery road that took us down the hill about 4-5 miles. No gates to open. It will be very muddy after any rains. Beautiful country.

I have been exchanging info with Cowper. Them map people looking for shorter roads instead of following directions. I gave him co ordinates to the turn off of hwy 16. He tried a different way.
Kirkendoll Cemetery Rd. It is only 3 miles down.. I just drive slooow.
You are right about slick and soft I bet. Not sure I would 2 wheel drive it during or right after big rains. Some real steep sections also.
