OCOEE?

Post by LOREN » Wed Mar 04, 2009 4:01 pm

Anybody going to the Ocoee for opening weekend? Would be willing to split gas and/or if anyone is taking a raft and would like an experienced guide to paddle it could do that as well. This nice weather is giving me the itch.

I would prefere to kayak as well, I was just keeping my options open. Im in the fayetteville area and could possibly get a full car load to help on the gas. My jeep has seen a hard enough road and I think 1 more trip would be the end of her. Also have connections in the Ocoee/Chattanooga area for places to stay or people to show us down some other rivers if they are running while there. Opening weekend is the 21-22nd and is releasing from 10-4 on both days.

I paddled it like three days after the sludge and besides the telapathy and third nipple i've seen no consequence
It could be worse, it could stop raining

I am in Memphis, but was thinking of heading to the Ocoee tonite. I was thinking I would camp at AU (adventures unlimited). So far it looks like the Memf crew is consisting of myself, a dog, and a non boater. I will definitely be looking for a group to chill and boat with. I mean, COME ON PEOPLE! OCOEE OPENING WEEKEND! Be there! Am I the only one that misses all those great play spots? Give me a ring @ 9O1-652-two799. Kevin
