Is there any way to find out how long it will run

You can call the office at the dam but I doubt they will know for sure. Instructions come from the LR office. And they do not like to discuss thier plans.

It's pretty easy to guess though. I have gotten it figured out to where I can guess pretty close for about 3 days ahead.

Lets test my guess: They turned it on Monday afternoon, up to 628 cfs. I think they will run at this level Tuesday Wednesday and into Thursday. Tomorrow afternoon I will guess at Fridays level or change.

Based on current conditions I am guessing that they turn it down sometime on Thursday (to like 75-150cfs, too low to be fun) and then off Friday afternoon. It might run through Monday but at the lower flow, so no weekend paddling

Wed to Thurs was a .56' drop.
The release was increased
Thurs to Friday is to be a .6' drop
Friday to Sat to be a .2' drop
So they must plan on reducing or shutting off the release on Friday.
The target level is 526 so they may run at a .2' per day drop for several days but not a fun level for the weekeend
