Mulberry This Weekend

Post by Bozman » Thu Mar 05, 2009 8:34 am

Boz (Brian) and Rebecca are heading to the Mulberry on Friday afternoon. Will float Saturday and Boz will race on Sunday. Boz challenges anyone over 45 on the Jungle Boater's race on Sunday. Anyone else gonna be there this weekend?

Great to hear it Donald! I'll be in a red and white Overflow kayak, wearing a black helmet, glasses, and nifty red shoes!!! You can't miss my stylin' floating shoes! I'll be driving a creme colored Toyota FJ Cruiser with Rebecca's blue kayak ontop. I'll have cold beer since you accepted my challenge. Leaving early in the morning. See you there!

An Overflow, that is a great old boat. We will be paddling a beatup blue Dagger reflection. We are likely to be scraping our way down the river with a storm chasing us. Should be a real challenge. Last year was lots of water so it looks like this year will be a little.

I cleaned from High Bank to Byrds last weekend. It was just under 2 and the low level definitely made it challenging. I felt like a pinball in one of the rapids! lol
