Recently joined and I am looking forward to the canoe/kayak school in May. When will the dates be finalized and when when registratrion begin?

I believe registration is usually announced in early-mid March; a message will posted on the Message Board.

Yes. First weekend in May

And there is also a recreational paddling school about 3 to 4 week later.

The pace is typically a bit more relaxed; the river is easier, but all the same fundamental moving water skills are covered, and if you're just getting started you'd benefit from whichever one of these two schools you went to.

TIP to Canoe School First Timers:

This clinic usually fills up in days.

I have seen it fill up in just one day.

Watch the Msg Board for the opening announcement and register soon as you can.
