I'd be interested in helping. I've yet to see the innards of Rock Creek and the Friday afternnon will meake it easier for me to get away.

Man, with Karma/Boatma like that, I think I;ll try and schedule that day off to help as well. I do like the thought of cleaning something as local as Rock Creek. I drive over it multiple times daily, and am totally amazed by the amount of styro floaters.

This day has special meaning to me -- couple of the happiest days in my life: First, I got married on Friday the 13th of March. And, sixteen years later I got divorced on Friday the 13th of March.

Jno - You probably won't like this infortuity any more than I do, but I was born on Friday the 13th of March (at least we know we're not paraskevidekatriaphobic).

Yes, we're getting closer by the day. I can schedule the day off easy enough if its going to happen. Name a time and place for meeting up and I'll be there.

I have a small 4x4 truck for hauling whatever we need.

3 of us showed up, worked for about 2 hours, picked up about 30 bags of trash plus several items too big for bags. We did the areas south of Rock Creek from Bowman west to just past where the culvert goes under Markham. Not a "big" area but it looks a lot better.
