The Arkansas Canoe Club has implemented an online registration and renewal process with payment through PayPal. Check here for more information.

PLEASE - make sure you follow all of the steps. I am receiving applications with no payment and payments to the Paypal account with no applications. I understand some are renewals, but until we have a solution on how to handle renewal applications where information hasn't changed, please take the time to complete it so I will have something to send to the membership chair. Also, if you are completing an application and you check the box that says you are submitting your payment via Paypal, please make sure you do so. Thanks, Renee

Renee, I sent you an e-mail about this, but for those who haven't tried this method yet, the request that you fill out an applicaiton applies to renewals, even though it just says "to join."

I didn't know it applied to renewals, so skipped the part about filling out the applications and went straight to payment.

I'm sending Renee my application today. Sorry for the confusion.
Liz

And, if I renew now, but should renew in May, what happens to the months of credit in between?

Bob, a PM has been sent.

Larry, if you renew early, then you just lose those extra months as punishment for making me do work!!!
Haha... kidding.

If you renew early, I simply tack it on to the existing date and extend it out.
Your renewal date will never change unless you allow membership to lapse for more than 90 days.

Thanks

OK folks, in response to feedback, I'm looking for "announcements" that have been around long enough to become "background" clutter. We have multiple moderators, and everyone would make different choices, so this will be imperfect. I'm counting on the membership to help point newer readers to some of the information; for example, this info on how to join ACC via online registration can now be found from a link on our front page, so I think keeping it at the top of our messageboard may be no longer necessary.
