Has anyone done this before? How long did it take under normal flow conditions?

Yes! What do you consider normal flow? When they are generating? Thats normally in the Summer or when the lakes are full. You can forget about paddling and just go with the flow unless you get a head wind. Wind seems to be a problem usually below Calico Rock in the summer. What I have done is paddle to Red's Landing (about 7 miles below Norfork) Friday afternoon and spend the night. Saturday, I paddle 20 miles to Boswell Shoals and spend the night at the primitive NFS campground. I take out on Sunday about noon. That again assumes good summer flow.

When they are not generating then its a whole new ball game. You can do the same but plan on pushing it the whole way because there is very little flow.

The White is a wonderful but underutilized river by paddlers. If you have questions about any part of that stretch let me know. BTW, If you plan on camping at Reds, when they are generating you can paddle right up to the landing. When they are not generating, its a long drag over a dry rocky river bottom.
