Directions for OBU roll sessions

Roll sessions at Ouachita Baptist University pool in Arkadelphia are scheduled for Feb 3, 10, 17, Mar 3, 10, 17, 7:00-9:00 pm. Due to construction on campus, there is only one entrance to the gym where the pool is. Easiest way to approach it is from 10th street entrance (10th street is also Hwy 7, 67). From central AR, take exit 78 off I 30 and head into Arkadelphia. After you pass the OBU football field (on left) and road to HSU athletic complexes (on right), turn left at the OBU Tennis center (Sonny Jackson Drive). At stop sign turn right. Construction mess on right. 2nd left goes up the small hill to to the gym. The first parking lot available is closest to the gym entrance. Pool is downstairs.

From other directions, come into Arkadelphia and head north on 10th Street / Hwy 7/ Hwy 67. Several ways you could make it through campus, but easiest will be to stay on 10th going north. You'll pass main HSU campus on left. Then going down a hill you'll see construction of a new OBU entrance road on right. Just past that, turn right at OBU Tennis center (Sonny Jackson Drive). Then same as above: right at stop sign, second left up to gym.

OBU campus is small, and so is Arkadelphia, so shouldn't be too hard to find.

Unrelated but pretty cool. For our On the Ouachtia class yesterday, we got to see William Dunbar's original journal from the Dunbar and Hunter expedition up the Ouachita river. Also his eyeglasses and the compass given to him by Jefferson.
