ACC Central Chapter Meeting (Jan 27)

Another new year and hope everyone had the chance to paddle somewhere over the holidays.

Our 1st meeting of the year will be held:

Oyster Bar on Markham in Little Rock
27 Jan 09
7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Come early to eat amd see old/new friends

No presentation this month but I do have a DVD from Eric Jackson with lots of his video clips. This is the same DVD shown at the Nov 08 meeting but there is a lot more on the DVD than shown that night.

I sent an email to the Central Chapter members with this same information. I got lots of kickbacks with emails that were no longer valid. If you did not get the email or have changed your email address, send me a PM and I will add you back to the list.

We will have a short briefing on an event called "Paddle for the Planet". Jeremy Mackey will give the briefing and has advised me that the website for the event will be up at the end of this week.

As you probably know, there is a good chance we will have ice on the roads by tomorrow night. I’m sure no one wants to take the chance of getting out in icy conditions to attend a meeting so I will monitor the weather and make the final determination tomorrow at noon. If the weather dictates, the meeting will be cancelled and the next meeting will be held in Feb as scheduled.
