Sunday paddling (class II)

Post by Mike_P » Sat Dec 27, 2008 3:13 pm

Considering something fairly short for Sunday like Redding to Turner Bend, Frog, or Boxley valley depending on what the gauges look like in the AM & time constraints. Post if you're interested in meeting somewhere. I'm looking to leave Rogers around 10:30 AM.

I am interested in Frog or High Banks to Byrds. I live in Bentonvile. You can hitch a ride with me if we don't have another vehicle to go!

Looks like the 'Berry is going to be the good choice as of now. Lee and Frog are down already.

FYI - check the time stamp on the gauges...many have a glitch and are now showing reading 14+ hours old (before the heavy rain of today).

Waiting for TB & BOC to post their visuals. Will post where we're going around 10:30 am. Off to church!

We're going to do the Boxley valley run. 0" of airspace at BOC should be ideal this afternoon. We are meeting at Boxley bridge at approx 12:30. Post back if you're meeting us there so we know if we need to wait on you. SYOTR

Pefect day, I enjoyed our 2 hour run with short hike to the waterfall. Good to meet you Brandon, painterbob (again), & Brent from Springfield. I think 0" on that run is was a little better than 5" (what I did last time) for what it's worth. Although I hear it's really good again down around 8-12" of airspace...that's my next goal on that run. SYOTR.
