OT - CD Release Party - Red Eye Gravy

Post by GN YAKN » Tue Dec 02, 2008 7:00 pm

My nephews, Josh and Jed, and their band, Red Eye Gravy are hosting a CD release party on December 20 at Roxy's Roost on the Illinois River, Tahlequah, Okrahoma.

This CD has been two years in the making and the results are great! I'm thrilled for these boys and very proud of their accomplishment. The CD contains 10 original tunes and one cover, This Train, by Woody Guthrie.
The artwork is original and very clever.

Roxy's has been closed for several months and will reopen under new management with this party. Should be a helluva throw down in the Quah!

Cindy and I are planning on being there and would welcome some company! I'll post a link to their website so you can check them out.

Dave and Cindy, I'll join you all and bring my cousins along (they live in that OK area more or less)........I've met and heard them at your birthday party and they are very talented; awesome news! Will buy a CD also. Look forward to it! Gretchen
P.S. Will spread the word

We are expecting delivery on 12/16. When the boys get back from Texas I'll find out what kind of plans they'll have for distribution.

Can't tell you how great it will be to finally get this deal done. Josh wrote 10 original tunes for the CD and has been working on the recording for almost two years. Band personnel changes along with his desire to put out the best work he could has slowed the process.

The band's live performances are a real show. Lots of energy and some really fine musicianship.

This has been a real treat for our entire family! Thanks for your interest!
