Wavesport super ez

Post by Charlie Ford » Fri Oct 17, 2008 11:51 am

I recently bought a super ez. It is my first boat and I am learning to roll. Some friends recently bought plyboats as well and they seem to have picked up the roll quicker than myself. Is it the boats or is it my lack of proper technique.

It is probably your technique. I use to own a super ez and they seem easier to roll than let's say a T4. Try really crunching up on a c to c and really snap that sucker. I find that most times when I have trouble rolling it's because I'm not setting up correctly and creating that tension on the hip snap. Keep trying it will come.

Everyone learns a little differently and at different paces, so don't be too hard on yourself.
Just keep as calm as you can and try hard and it will come to you.
If you miss 3 rolls in a row then quit until another day, this will help keep you from learning bad habits. 8)
