I missed the Fayetteville screening as I was, along with several others, over on the Buffalo camped out at Rush to go run an overnight canoe trip from HW 14 Bridge to Rush. I'd be interested in buying a copy of the DVD just so show friends and family who are on the fence about going on the monthly overnighters.

How much will the DVD be and where will it be sold?

Should be interesting to have it for the historical overview and then play the movies GUT-IT took of our overnighter last weekend when he gets through his editing and composition work. It was a great trip.

Great film, and great job of attribution to those who led the fight to keep the Buffalo flowing. Looking back from today's perspective it's hard to realize the unthinkable almost happened, and would have but for Dr. Compton, the Hedges, and all the other foot soldiers in the war against the Corps.

Debo and That Man She Does Not Know* were prominently featured and naturally the image that came to mind was ... Snake Handling(!) Then the film gave a big shout out to the Boxley Baptist Church, again I thought of ... Snake Handling,(!) (and wondered if there wasn't a path to organized religion for Debo after all).

Gary and I went last night and it was a great film. Great to see Debo, Cowper and Margaret representing the Canoe Club, you all did a great job.
Hope to get a copy of the DVD.

Greetings from sunny California! Out here at an environmental conference. A lady on the plane warned me to look out for the wackos out here. So far am holding my own. saw some major sufing action this morning at Bodaga Bay. Huge rollors coming in causing sufers to go airborn and crash into the foam.

Glad y'all enjoyed Buffalo Flows

Hay DB, wasn't "DeBo and the stay puft marshmellow men" the name of my band? :D

That's right, and in the mind's eye of Your Creator you were Siouxsie Sioux, Beki Bondage, and Dinah Cancer all rolled into one (but less diffident).

Eric,

The DVD's are $22.00. The money goes all to something about preservation. As soon as the website is functional they will be available there. As of last weekend the website was not up and the DVD were still being made. s.

Eric, for those of you in the Fayetteville area they are going to show the video at the Ozark Society meeting.

One of these should be able to tell you the time and place.

Vice Chairman & Programs: Ellen Compton 527-9660
Outings Chairman: Bob Cross 587-8757

There will be an impromptu screening of Buffalo Flows at the Northwest Chapter meeting at Hogwild Pizzza tonight at 6:45. We're going to try to show it on the big screen TV there (pending the approval of the management). ACC's own documentary filmmaker who was one of the creators of this project, Trey Marley, will be there to answer questions and introduce the film. Spread the word and see you there!

Susan said we are going to have to order multiple copies for Christmas presents. Nice seeing Stan and Ken in there too.
