OK Susan, 10:45 sounds fine. Marlo and I will see you all there, and I do like the Lolly Gaging ,so we can go eat in Hot Springs. :)

Best Regards
Jim

Wes; You won't be able to miss us. Jim and Marlo will be standing around their truck, with nice bars holding boats way up in the air ... and we'll all be hanging around their truck!

Don't forget to bring dry clothes and lunch!

Great Day ahead!!!!
Susan

Be prepared for windchills. Wind could be gusting to 20mph.

Well, another fun day for us all! The crisp air, Fall colors, and that 20mph. wind richard mentioned all made the Ouachita float great.
AND Don Juan's afterward! It was very nice to have Mike Beebe's son Michael along today, thanks to you all!

Best Regards

Really enjoyed floating with everyone. What a great group! Glad that wind Richard sent was at our back ... otherwise we would have been slammed into the dam and never gotten any further than the put in!
The sun was warm and nobody swam at Rockport, even if Marlo did decide to take us to the "FUN" part of the ledge. Marlo always makes it interesting.
And, the Deer that went over the ledge, surprising the kayakers behind the big rock, was an awesome experiece to watch.

Looking forward to the next trip!

Thanks to all for a great day. Thanks specifically to Jim for educating my son Michael on the finer points of staying right side up. He thoroughly enjoyed not only the float but getting to meet everyone. He'll be ready for some more kayaking in the spring I'm sure.

Gary and I had a great day visiting and paddling with our good friends. Glad to meet Michael, hope to see more of him on the river. Also, couldn't let a little bronchitis keep me off the river.
See some rain coming for the week. Pray the rivers will rise.

Thanks for letting me tag along. The wet lap & the swimming deer was a hoot at the end of the trip.
