OT NEED SOME HELP FOR MY SON AND WIFE AND TWO GIRLS

The kids found a house to rent in Benton not far from us. They will be trying to move in this week. Starting from scratch. The Red Cross helped them out a little with a hotel room for 3 nights and some money for clothes and food but that won't go far. Had it not been for one of the emergency management people Chris works for putting the word in at the the Red Cross in Russellville area, they would not have gotten anything. They were about to be sent away with no offer of help till one lady asked if so and so sent them and they said yes. Only then were they gonna give any assistance.

Glad to hear the Red Cross came through. I've heard the Russellville office is hard to get anything out of ... but I send my donations to the AR Red Cross and hope they use it for situations like Chris'.
So, was Chris in the Emergency Management program at Tech? My neice, Hallie, is working on her Fed. Emergency Mgmt. Masters Degree there now.

I have some things for the family: tv, tv stand, used desktop computer, coffee table and some bedding stuff (cute!) when they get some beds. I'll see what else I can find.

Hope they are doing ok. I imagine it may be hard going to sleep, fearing a fire might start or just nightmares.

Susan,
Chris got his at Tech in Russellville. He is planning to start working on his masters too. They will be back here on Wednesday, if not sooner, and I will let them know. It will be a slow process of trying to get the house in order. They got lucky on a decent house and well kept up with the appliances and all. Thank you again for your help. You know if you ever need anything, let Gary and I know.
