Dagger Approach Spray Skirt

Post by mbradley » Sat Nov 01, 2008 8:59 am

I am a new owner of a Dagger Approach and want to buy a spray skirt. Any advice would be most welcome!

Dagger makes an approach skirt that is a neoprene deck with an adjustable nylon tunnel. Seals also makes a similar skirt and one that is completely nylon with an implosion bar. I would recommend the full neoprene skirt with this boat, given that is is class II+/III- capable. Remember that when you put a skirt on the boat, you also need to have a helmet on, because if you flip upside down, you will be held in the boat until you pop the skirt and wet exit. This leaves your head exposed to rocks for the time you're under water

I have some WW boats in my inventory, and Marlo has an Approach in her rec. inventory, I agree that a full neoprene skirt is the best for this 'crossover' boat.
