Lake Wilson After Spillway?

Post by A Savage spanke » Thu Oct 30, 2008 12:16 pm

Alright, I saw the stretch below the spillway for the first time and it looks like a ride. Who's done it, and who's got video?

I don't know anyone who's done that one - looks like a hard landing. :) Good luck if you take it on. Lake Sequoya overflow spill has been run a bunch, though it's sorta illegal. Lake Wedington spillway overflow would be the big one around here - serious bow cruncher there! If pain is your thing...

There is a spillway on Horsehead lake near coal hill. It cosists of a small dam followed by some huge huge flat rocks that make up the spill way. Went there all the time as a child. Went back a few years ago and it's changed so much I could hardly recognize it. If anyone kayaks that spillway, more power to ya.
