I may be an "Ox" when it comes to other land related activities, but not so much when it comes to kayaking!!! Yes, I did almost take down Harlan... I am still hurting from the amateur Ultimate Fighting experience!! Okay, maybe I shouldn't have picked one of the biggest guys in the crowd to take down!! Anyway, you only swam cause' you were racing to help Renee rescue me from the BIG A*S Hole i was in... If I hadn't flipped, you wouldn't have swam!!! Karma came back and claimed a swim from me after I "Hugged a Tree" after trying to help grab someone's paddle... It was definetly a "Yard Sale" on the Lil Mo' !! People and gear floating all over the place!!!!

Wish we had video of that experience!!! Classic!!!! Reflecting back, I was a bit amused at Renee (aka Momma) counting bodies in every eddy!!! "Do we still have 15, I mean we started out with 15... do ya'll count 15... stay still so I can count you!! (kidding Renee)?? Is every one here??? Are we missing anyone??? Is Erica (Toadlicker) still stuck in a tree????" Renee took excellent care of everyone that day, making sure everyone made it off the Lil Mo intact!!

Well Erica may have ALMOST taken down Harlan, but I definately saw her take Richard down later in a battle royale on the stage in the movie hall. Poor Richard, he never stood a chance. I've got video of it, albeit grainy and bigfootish, you can hear the cheers of the crowd.
I think Richard eventually cheated and got the best of her.
Then he went and beat up some 4th graders.
He is a manly man! ( just kidding bro, We all thought you could take her

What a weekend! I saw lots of old friends and made even more new ones. As always, the OOO crew was great and their tarp was like a home. The karaoke was a lot of fun and the margaritas were delicious! I was bummed about having to leave early, but who knows, maybe I'll be a local next year.

OK, I know I said I wanted to hear all about it...but I LIED!!!!! I'm soooo jealous!!!! Just kidding, wish I could have been there, I was looking forward to meeting new folks and seeing those I met at the S&T and rec school.
I had a disagreement with a friend's falling kayak (actually my 56 lb touring yak that she's using since I can't lift it!!!) Well wouldn't ya know her hoist slipped and of course instinct took over and I grabbed it before it hit her brand new mini cooper. Would you like to know how many times I've said stupid stupid stupid idiot!!!!!I've lost count. I was sick thinking I'd have to redo the surgery.Well I'm feeling better day by day, doc says I just have to take it easy a little longer now, which I will obediently do.
Instead of coming to the 'Vous I got to stay home and pray that the predicted 75 mph gusts(or 69 that hit just below in Lufkin) didn't rip out all the windows in my house, but got lucky on that too, as the eye went 15 miles east of here and put me out of the NE quad. Lost elec twice Sat 3 hrs. each time so no big deal (it helps that I'm on the same power grid as the Ozarka plant down the road.)
Hope you Louisiana folks faired alright.
SYOTR......eventually, I hope

Great time! Thanks so much Larry and Gordon for the instruction on rafting! Enjoyed it tremendously, especially the bet trying to get back into the RAFT solo with only 3 tries! James did it on the 3rd try, thank goodness I didn't bet him! Way to go Climber/unicyclist! What better way of spending time in a tornado but with 'die-hard' kayakers/campers - I felt very secure! Painter Bob thanks for the Cadron run with the others and nice to meet Chester! Yes Hurricane is next and the other rivers recommended! Gosh I highly enjoyed surfing at rockport, ferring, and then lying up on the rock catching rays!.......... Hey Toadlicker; it was...........well........kinda.........scary m...eeeting ya

! Wild one that you are

Look forward to paddling/hiking/swimming with ya, .....

Good to see Richard, Dave, Bob again.....!! Until next year. Thanks To DAve and Susan.
