Tom Kaylor who used to live here in Memphis put the info on AW.

In his notes he said that 10.5 stones was when it started getting boney.

I have run it as high as 7.5 stones and it was pretty washed out.

Here is a post I found from Tom.

Level Report

Post by paddlebug » Thu Sep 04, 2008 11:20 pm

Level checked at 7:30pm Thursday----8 full stones showing. I dont know if it will hold till Sat, so Im not promising anything. I plan on running it either way cause I'll be in the area. I will get a report before daylight Sat morning on the way to the hunting field, but wont be able to post on the board. So if you want me to call you, :poke: PM your number today and when you want me to call ya.:hammer:

Ive done it at 7 stones also, took an 1:45 to go the 11 miles. It was pretty big and well into the treeline. I would also say 10.5 would be the min.
